Allied Interstate Inc calls me every day from this number 724-209-6600. When I answer the phone it rings back to them as I if I was the one making the call. Nobody ever says anything! They are calling me cell phone and since I don't have unlimited calling they are costing me my minutes. Aren't debt collectors not allowed to call cell phones? Please help!

West Asset Management contacted me on my cell phone this morning using an auto-dialer. I never gave them authorization to call my cell phone so what they did is a violation of my consumer rights. On top of that they contact me about a debt that is way past the Debt Statute of Limitations in my state. These people are zombie debt collectors and will try and trick you to get you to validate the debt and re-start the clock. Beware of West Asset Management!

Asset Acceptance Corporation is a company full of rude employess. They lie to you and when asked for their contact information they won't give it to you. I asked to speak to a supervisor and for their fax number so I could fax a Cease and Desist letter and they refused to both requests. They claimed to have sent a debt validation letter, which after weeks I have not received! I was able to get their number off the internet and sent them a Cease and Desist letter.

National Enterprise Systems sent me a letter saying that they would work with me in paying my debt. I called them to try and set up a payment plan but got no help from them. They wanted $600 a month and after I told them I couldn't afford that much they told me they had a judgment against me and that they were going to garnish my husband's wages. I never received court papers and know nothing about this judgement they speak about. I'm desperate and don't know what to do because they refuse to help me set up a payment plan I can afford.
I used to have my mortgage with GMAC and never had any problems. I recently received a letter saying that Ocwen was taking over my loan and the nightmare begun. They raised my interest rate even though it was fixed which increased my payment by $30. They called me saying I also need to make a payment of $118 because my impound account was short. Why is this happening all of a sudden and never did when I was with GMAC. If my impound account is short why did I receive a refund from my escrow account a few months ago. They also, call me on the 1st of every month wanting me to make a payment over the phone. I feel harassed! I have always paid online why do they have to call me? Someone really needs to look into Ocwen and their practices!
I bought a used car from D&S Motors on St. John Ave. in Dyersburg TN and gave $1500.00 down only to be left stranded 16 days later 150 miles from home. The car had a blown head gasket and found that it wasn't the original motor in the vehicle. When I notified the car lot I was told that there wasn't anything they could do for me.

They said it would take 24 - 48 hrs to have my number removed from their calling lists. It's been 3 weeks since that conversation and I am still receiving these incovenient calls! I am going to have to change my number because they just won't quit calling!
I have received a letter and several calls from Associated Recovery Systems best known as ARS within a week. When I asked them to verify the debt both the representative and supervisor started screaming at me being rude. The supervisor then said she would make a note on my file that I was refusing to pay. I never said I wouldn't pay I just asked for more information regarding the debt they claim I owe them. Everytime I tried to speak they yelled. I don't think I deserve to be treated this way and I have the right to ask for detailed information regarding the debt. Horrible people!

Allied Interstate calls my home several times a day regarding someone else's debt. Apparently, our phone number belonged to someone else that owed them money and now they won't stop calling. Everytime my wife and I try to ask them to stop calling they rudely hang up on us before we can even say a word.
GC services representatives are contacting my neighbors and lying to them telling then I gave them their number as a reference. They tell my neighbors to give me a message - to call "Shanell." I have lived in this neighborghood for a while and I don't even know my neighbors names much less their phone numbers! This is really embarrasing and wrong!

Portfolio Recovery is contacting me about a debt that does not belong to me. I asked for a debt verification and they were unable to verify it belongs to me. They sent me a dispute form but I have no access to the information they are requesting. They suggested I may be a victim of identity theft, but won't give me all the information I need to file a police report. I don't want to be a victim of debt collector harassment over a debt I do not owe!
My father, who banked with BofA passed away over a year ago. I have been tryign to close his account since then. They are making it very difficult to release the funds in my dad's account, regardless of the judge's order. Now I have to open a new account to be able to access his account. I seriously have never had so many issues with a bank before!

Midland Credit Management sued me for a debt that is not mine. I am forced to go to court and answer interrogatories. I am constantly harassed by them. They have provided no proof that this debt is mine, yet the court allows them to go on! This is not fair!
So 4 years ago NES contacted me and was extremely rude to me and my mother on trying to collect money on my student loans. Yelling at me and belittling me to say the least.... I owed $55500 and they were offering me a settlement for $20000. We were like great! sure! They wanted $10000 at first and then go into payments for the next 5 years and all would be paid in full.... Well i couldn't get that much but i did get $6000 from the bank and sent it to them and have since been paying $250/month for the past 4 years. A few weeks ago i called because i couldn't make payment due to loss of my job. I inquired what my balance was since I knew the time was near the end. They got back to me a few days ago and tell me that my balance is $55500!!!!! IT NEVER WENT DOWN! I have been paying all this money for nothing! I understand with interest it wont change much but what happened to the original $6k? And if this is the case that I have just been paying interest, this will be an ongoing payment towards nothing. now they are trying to offer me a settlement to pay it in full for $10000! Well i talked to my loan officer at my bank and she and i both believe they are scamming me again. They gave me to the end of the month to settle. No other option. Well I cant afford a lawyer, let alone anymore $ to go to waste on this company. Im distraught to think that i just wasted over $17000 in the past 4 years to not go towards anything! I want to know where my money went to but they have no answers. I talked to them yesterday and told them that I will work on getting money by the settlement date, knowing this will keep them off my back. they are planning to get in touch with me monday to see what i have figured out. I am not sure what to do at this point now.

My sisters and I bought 3 bridesmaid dresses a couple of weeks ago from TBdress.com. When we got the dresses we realized they sent us the wrong color. We ordered them burgundy instead they sent red. When we tried to return them they refused to give us a 'return authorization' because they claim the color IS burgundy. I sent photos comparing the red dresses to a burgundy one and they still refused to refund us. Do not buy from them, their customer service is bad and once you pay them you won't see your money back should you decide to return the merchandise.

A sales representative from this company said there wouldn't be any additional fees besides the monthly fee of $10.95 when they sold us the account. This was a lie after carefully reviewing our contract we found out this company charges huge minimum fees. When you call them to cancel they tell you they will charge you a $300 cancellation fee. Do not trust them!

I helped my daughter get a credit card from this bank when she was off to college so she could start building her credit. They offered us a card with a $250 limit with 0% interest. My daugher always paid on time and was doing so well that they kept on increasing her limit, regardless that she is a full time student without a job. They increased her limit to $5000. My daughter used the card to buy books and other school stuff and then she started noticing the balance was not decreasing but going up. Turns out when they increased her limit they also increased her interest rate to 25%. Now she is dealing with phone calls from them at work. She is way over her head with this credit card plus her student loans. Whatever you do don't get this card!

Home Residential Mortgage Servicing is unwilling to work with the borrower period. I have lived in my home for almost 25 years and I am about to lose it. I have an adjustable interest rate of 11.85%. I have filled out all the required paperwork and sent it via certified mail and they still managed to lose it! I ended up having to hire a loan modification lawyer and now that the firm sent the packet they acknowledged the receipt of it.

I have a credit card with Barclay's Bank, Juniper Credit Card that had a credit limit of $3000. I always paid on time and I hardly ever charge my credit cards to the limit but I recently did just that. When I have charged a credit card to the limit I make sure I pay it off quickly - which is what I did in this case. I paid the balance a couple of weeks later. Soon after I received a letter from them letting me know they reduced my credit limit from $3000 to $500. I called them to find out what had happened and the representatives were rude, and refused to undo the credit limit reduction. My complaint is not about them reducing my credit limit but when they did that for no reason my credit score was lowered. Be cautious with this credit card company.

I received a collection letter today from Euler Hermes regarding google adwords. A couple of months ago I canceled my debit card and was issued a new one. I forgot to update my adwords account and when they tried to charge me card it declined. I got ONE email letting me know my card had declined. I updated my billing info with the new card information and as of right now my account my account has a positive balance. I don't understand why google adwords would send me to collection for a debt that was never there, furthermore why would they not send me an invoice if they believed i owed them (which I don't) before sending me to collection? Now I have to waste my time trying to clear this up to make sure this doesn't affect my credit!

I have owned my home for 15 years and my mortgage has changed company quite a few times. It was recently sold to American Home Mortgage Servicing (AHMS) who is now operating under the name of Homeward Residential Mortgage Service. We have been trying to get a mortgage loan modification for 2 years and it has been a nightmare dealing with this company. They assigned me to what they call a 'relationship manager' often and never did I get to speak with any of them - they are basically unreachable. I faxed a loan modification packet and after calling to confirm receipt it was always missing something according to them, they didn't get the fax or something was outdated and had to re-fax everything again (this went one for 2 years). My interest rate is 7.25 and all I need is for them to lower the interest so I can afford the payments. I want to keep my home but this company just won't help! My home has now a foreclosure date next month.

I received a phone call today from Amex that my corp Amex card has been used in Columbia totaling around $5000.00. I recently saw a sign at a Basha's food store a few days back that they have been hacked and that consumer financial info has been leaked. After the phone call I looked up the issue on google and it stated that it has been happening mostly in Havasu/ Gold Canyon area as well as Maricopa county, AZ. I live in Scottsdale but I am a Liaison for a hospital in Phx and I do travel to Havasu/ Gold Canyon/Kingman once a month. I think there should be a class action suit regarding the fact that Basha's is allowed to retain that type of financial information on their consumers. I filed with Scottsdale PD case #13-05890.

LVNV sued me for a debt that they bought from 13 years ago (this is way post the statute of limitations to sue in my state). They kept on sending me threatning letters and called me at all times of the day ... and night. I went to court and asked that they show proof that I owed this debt. Shortly after they dismissed the case. Beware! They are out to get your money!

I own a roofing company and was contacted by Rudy McCloud who said he as a roofing leads telemarketer. He offered us his services and sold me on it. I paid $1500 for roofing leads. He asked me for the area of my preference and since we had just had a hail storm I told him which areas to contact. Days later he called me to tell me he couldn't get any leads or appointment set up on that area and since I wasn't goint to get refund I gave him a couple of other areas that might have had some roof damage during the storm. We started receiving a few leads, but they were being told lies. I told Rudy to tell his telemarketers to not be saying that we are buidling roofs in the neighborhood because it wasn't true. Several of the leads never showed up for the appointments and he said to me "too bad". What really made me upset was when I showed up at a home and the homeowner said that the telemarketer told her she would have to pay her deductible that we would cover it. I immediately called Rudy McCloud asking for an explanation as this could cause me legal issues. He just said his people don't lie but refused to give me or let me hear the recorded phone call. Not one of his leads turned into a conversion. Beware of this individual and his poor work ethics. Do not hire him!

The people at Financial Crossroads Property Management are very unprofessional and dishonest. They refuse to give maintenance to the properties they manage always blaming it on somebody else. To begin with the owner does not have a real estate license in the state of Texas. She operates under other's certifications. I reported plumbing issues in the home and they said they would send someone to fix them but never did so I had to do the work because it was affecting our living situation. They now refuse to reimburse us for the work done saying we should have waited for them to send someone out there. The home has other issues such as cracks in the walls and they refuse to fix those claiming they are merely cosmetic issues. I am afraid to fix this because I know I won't be reimbursed. I shouldn't have to live in a home with plumbing issues and cracks on the walls. This company must be stopped!

Back in May of 2012 I bought a few dresses from WeddingDressMart.com. I was very dissapointed when I received the dresses. The material was cheap, the garments were missing buttons, and they definitely did not look like what they had posted on their website. I returned the dresses a week later and have been trying to get a refund since then. I paid over $300 for these dresses! They just keep on saying that they are wating on their manager to respond for months. WeddingDressMart.com was shut down by the United States Court of NY for using unauthorized images and for selling counterfeit merchandise. They are now operating under fashionor.com Beware of this company!

I signed up for a month to month service contract with merchant services direct. They took a long time to send me the equipment which on top of it was late. I decided to go with another, more reliable merchant company so I called them to cancel. They said I was locked in a 3 year contract and when I tried to get a hold of the representative that signed me up he was pretty much unreachable.

Bank of America suddenly started charging my savings account a $12 monthly fee. Unfortunately, since I don't monitor my savings account as often as I should I realized they were charging a few months later. When I called them they just gave me a lot of excuses. I don't understand why why they are allowed to just start charging fees without first consulting with the account owner. I went in to a branch and asked to speak to a supervisor who then proceeded to refer me to the contract I signed when I opened the account. Of course there was the small print saying that they can "change" the accounts fees at any time without having to notify the customer. I wonder if this isn't a violation of the EFTA. It is completely fine if they decide to "change" their fees but they should at least notify us before charging us. We as customers have the right to decide whether or not we accept their new fees and move to another bank if needed. I am closing my account with Bank of America and moving to a smaller bank.

National Enterprise Systems Inc calls me constantly at work even though I've told them personal calls are not allowed at my work, and to stop calling my workplace. They also make numerous calls throughout the day to my cellphone. They are a nightmare!
